Shock Headed Peters - 12"s

Well, here the first post.
As Are Friends Electric already posted the 'Not Born Beautiful' LP, I want to make my contribution by posting the first two 12"s.
I, Bloodbrother Be 12" (El Benelux,ELT 1)
1. I, Bloodbrother Be
2. Truth Has come
3. Katabolism
4. Hate On Sight

The title track was praised for it's jazzy feel and overtly gay lyrics.

The Kissing Of Gods 12" (El Benelux,EL 3T)
1. The Kissing Of Gods
2. Heartbreak Hotel
3. Always Be Waiting
4. Mr. Very Big

The title track taken from the 'Not Born Beautiful' LP.This 12" has a doomy heavy rock version of the Elvis song.

Thanks so much for the Shock Headed Peters! Not meaning to complain but quickshare is a misnomer. It takes me 90 minutes to get a 65 k file on high speed cable. Other sites take about 2 minutes. I know Rapidshare can be a pain but there is also megaupload and sendspace as alternatives.
    Keep up the good work!

  7. Hi there,
thanks for letting me know. So far I've heard that it didn't take too long. Before I started this blog I read all the fuzz about rapidshare so I chose another one that holds the files for 30 days after no download. Maybe try another moment of the day. I once downloaded (in the middle of the day) from Z upload and it took 2 and a half hours! So I understand the situation.

Most excellent...you don't happen to have the album by Karl Blake's other eighties project The Underneath? Just saying...;-)

  9. Hey Masterwolf, I've heard about that Underneath album but, no I don't have it. Will be on the lookout for this one.

Whoa. Thanks for these - always longed to hear "The Kissing of Gods" 12 inch. It's great! And if I'm not mistaken, SHOCKHEADED are modelling their "Heartbreak Hotel" on the crazed mid-70's version by JOHN CALE. Which is one of the great RNR cover-versions of all time.

  12. Hey Mrow, good to know. Never heard John Cale's version though...

Thanks so much for making this available. Truly a relation to finally be able to hear it. Anyone have "Not Born Beautiful"? The AFE blog seems to be dead, and I've been scouring around for that one for a long time, but to no success.
