Punky postpunk from Basta Roc. Don't know anything about this band. There's some confusion on the origins of Basta Roc. It seems that this 7" was released in Sweden (according to the discogs submission but my copy doesn't show any relevant info) but I guess the band came from the UK. They also appear on the 'Out Of The Unknown' comp. LP and 'The Wycombe Compilation' comp. album (with the track 'Billy Bones'). So I expect Basta Roc to be a Wycombe band.
Any extra info appreciated.

Are there unreleased recordings?
I was in this band a long time ago, I also have some other tracks. Can confirm we were from High Wycombe!
Hi Nathan!
Any idea how many copies of this fine single were made and/or sold?
I'd be interested in hearing other tracks.
.. and the band still owe me cash for the T-shirts.
Karma's gonna get you.
Ok this was an early recording of the band I have some much better stuff which I may make available soon if interested.
Not sure how many copies were made, not many, around 2k - we were ripped off and lost loads.
Sorry if you are owed money for t-shirts that was not me - so Karma can whistle elsewhere, lots of bad dudes around we were not one of them
the bans were from wycombe and were quite a rockin outfit i rodied for them on quite a few gigs in the 80s i was the guitar tech and driver my mate jeff looked after the drums on certain gigs the bass and later guitar player lives in aylesbury and i am still in contact the him had a few line up changes through thier time
they were as honest as the day was long so any money owed was someone else not the band ...they were good lads
