Blood & Roses were from London. Bob Short, guitarplayer of the band, was a member of the Kill Your Pet Puppy collective, together with Dave Roberts of the Sex Gang Children. Bob Short was also very interested in the works of Aleister Crowley.
'Assault On Precinct 13' is a cover of the soundtrack from the same movie of John Carpenter.

Bit of an understatement there Curios Guy. I was delighted to discover this was your latest post. I have the Love Under Will and Some Like.... records but have never actually clapped eyes on a copy of this album. Again, more underrated but classic music. Good work fella!

Curiouser and curiouser! I need to get an external hard drive for the music I'm adding. Many of these postings are amzing upgrades on my existing collection. And CG has saved me some of the rips I'd need to do of my own vinyl.

Wow it is a great record too! And imagine my surprise when I was listening to this over weekend as I was reading The Day The Country Died UK Anarcho Punk and then suddenly there is this little chapter on Blood & Roses!!!
