The Mutant Sounds blog posted the East Of Croydon comp. LP recently and it has a great track of Kan Kan. This prompted me to post their output.
Not a lot of info to be found on the band but Kan Kan was the brainchild of Patrick Dineen. The band also recorded a Peel Session in 1982, with 4 tracks not issued till today.
The 7" was self released and probably has no picture sleeve; my copy doesn't have one.
Anyone with more info, please post it in the comments section.

Hello Trespassers W, the first 7" should be in the file if you download it. With 'until now' I mean that it is still never released (unlike many other Peel Sessions)and I wish I could hear those tracks. Maybe someone recorded it from the broadcast on tape? Songs are 'Apartment 100','Shot In The Dark', 'Somethings Never Change' and 'Déja Vu'.

Kan Kan is great, thanks for this and the rest of your posts. I like what you are doing, immensely. So many wonders to discover and names I never knew to look for in the vinyl hunt!

Wow, what a blog. Thanks for all your hard work.
Good to see some recognition for this mostly forgotten post-punk artist, i have a knackered copy of the Peel Session from 82 on tape ,and one track in particular Apartment 100 , is a film noir classic . Lots of dark piano and ethereal synth on the session tracks .
Hope it gets a long overdue release.
I love Kan Kan, good to see others do too.

I played the bass in the 'original' line-up of Kan Kan (originally known as 'Changing Trains') - I've been inspired to look around the web today for info on the band after hearing the sad news of the death of Paul Raven of Killing Joke, who Kan Kan supported at the National Ballroom in Kilburn sometime in 1981 (lost my diary..)

You can buy Kan Kan's rereleased album from Geheimness Records, Athens, Greece. It's called "Always Changing Trains".
The 2 main musicians are Patrick Dineen and Graham McGill.
