The Hook'n'Pull Gang - Pour It Down Yer Throat/Gasoline 7"

Discovered this great 7" on Texas Jumblesales (RIP) a few years ago, run by English Paul. I found a copy myself recently so I can offer it here as well.
The Hook'n'Pull Gang were 2 girls/1 boy playing indie rock with goth influence.
Guitarplayer Rita Blazyca was later a member of Die Cheerleader.
So for those who missed it the first time, here's your chance.

Pour It Down Yer Throat/Gasoline 7" (Bitch Hog Records-BITCH 1-1987)

They must have gotten their name from the texas chainsaw massacre. I remember that line when grandpa was given the hammer. interesting post

I played in bands in Edinburgh in the 80s. We played quite a few times with this band and they were great live. The singer/drummer Eileen? was tiny but had an amazing presence. The Canadian Fast distributor was Sandy McLean. The H&PG even made onto the telly but I've since lost my tape of it. I would love to track it down. I've still got their (one and only?) single but great to hear these other tracks. thanks

Sandy McLean a blast from the past, I think he went back to Canada, he was a really nice guy to work with> I think the ;ast bits of artwork i did for him was Robert Kings(ex scars, gerat scottish band) LIP MACHINE, or some band that did "No sleep till bedtime" i did "the scream" pastiche on the label -cant remember that long ago. Just put the finishing touches to a Marc Bolan & T.Rex Calling all destroyers double CD and a STOOGES boxest YOU WANT MY ACTION

I put these guys on at a bar down the cowgate back in late 80's. It was first time I met their manager Neil Gammack. Became good friends. Sadly, he passed away last Saturday. His funeral is at Warriston 11am on wed 1st June 2011.
