Live Skull - Cloud One LP / Pusherman EP

Last post for 2011. Here are the two remaining records of Live Skull that I promised to post. 'Cloud One' was the band's second full-length. 'Pusherman' was the last record with the original line-up. 'Pusherman' Originally written by Curtis Mayfield.

Wish you all the best for 2012 although I'm somehow pessimistic about the state of the world. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. Capitalism is pushing more people into poverty. Politics are captured by the free market, rating-bureaus and banks. And still no consensus on global warming, pushing the world further into ecological disaster. Luckily there's good music around to soften the pain.

You don't have the self-titled 12" EP they released before Bringing Home the Bait?

I saw them a few times with the first line-up, and they were fantastic every time. Saw 'em once with the Thalia Zadek configuration, too. They were good, but they were a very different beast at that point.

...not with a bang, but a whimper...

The self-titled mini-album can be found in the archives:

(it doesn't show up through the search button for whatever reason)
bX-59cppw, I share the sentiment ;)

Hello Curious Guy
Thank you so much for your fantastic blog. It is my favorite so far!
: )
One suggestion for 2012.
Why not doing flac instead of mp3
That will be really something
: ))

What do you think?
Best from Berlin

THX for making me remember Live Skull again. Great download.
I have seen them in Rotterdam somewhere between '84 and '86 and after some searching I found a cassette from that concert called "Live Skull- Batt Attack (Radio Razor + Jurgen)" If the sound is ok I'll give it to you if you care.

THX for all the previous downloads as well!It took me 2 years to make a comment, but better late then never :)

I was playing with the idea of doing flac besides mp3. I've done some re-rips of stuff here and still have those as wav. To re-rip the whole backlog is way too much work. I'll see in the near future as I'm in the midst of house renovation and my music collection is a complete mess now.
BarbaricFellow, thanks for the comment even if it took you 2 years :)

Dude! My copy is way cleaner! And I don't really give two shits about it. If you want it, you can have it! Tell me what, with, and how?

Dude! I'm happy with my copy. Someone out there will be interested.

Thanks so much for posting the Live Skull album. Out of print for years and never issued on CD, so I think for the most part Live Skull are unheard/unknown now. Which is too bad. they were always compared to Sonic Youth (hard not to do that) but in my opinion Live Skull were far better.
