Paradise Now - I'm So Glad 7"

Pretty obscure 7" from unknown UK band Paradise Now.  They were from South Shields, Tyne + Wear, close to Newcastle.
Indie postpunk tunes here. No info on the band to be find though.

I got this copy from an ebay-seller that sells stuff that isn't listed anywhere else, not even on Discogs (well now it is). I think the seller worked for a zine as the records come with promo or handwritten letter from the band. Paradise Now even claim to be the best thing to come out of the Newcastle area since Brown Ale!

Wow! Great 7" but don't forget Zoviet France from Newcastle, one of the greatest projects ever :)

Zoviet France off course! Really into them. Sam them years ago in a church here in Belgium.
Actually, it's the band's opinion on being the best in Newcastle, not mine ;)

The singer and the bass player were in the Angelic Upstarts for their first gig at Jarrow civic hall, the singer played drums at that gig.

Hi

My brother was the drummer and his name was Bob Rowland who was also in The Fauves a punk band from South Shields which also featured Leon Slawinski, Bri Smith and my other brother Chris Rowland who played bass guitar. They also had a band called Revolving Doors. I can be contacted on thunderbirdsport885@hotmail.co.uk if you want any further info. I have about 5 copies of that single!
